ABC Insurance launches three new commercial policies for licensed trade

ABC Insurance today announces the launch of a range of commercial insurance policies specifically developed for the licensed trade.   The policies are designed to cover the assets, earnings and liabilities of pubs, restaurants, plus hotels and guesthouses.

The policies offer a wide range of cover which can be tailored to individual requirements.  Standard cover options include: 

• Material damage to property including cover in the event of fire, theft and flood, plus smashed or damaged glass, stolen money and damage or loss of goods in transit
• Business interruption cover up to £500,000
• Liability insurance including employer, public and product up to £2million
• Theft by employees of up to £5000
• Equipment breakdown insurance including cover for refrigerated contents of up to £15,000
• Legal expenses of up to £100,000 per case (£1 million cover in total) with a  24 hour legal helpline

The policies are targeted at owners and operators of licensed businesses, and as with ABC's entire product range, they are available exclusively via insurance brokers.

As well as a high level of standard cover, the policies feature a range of optional extensions including cover for accidental damage, loss of licence, plus buildings and contents insurance.

The policies are all underwritten by LV= and will be administered from a dedicated service team in Croydon.  This team will provide immediate quotations and sales via telephone and rapid quotes and policy fulfillment in response to emailed or faxed enquiries.  Brokers can also choose to receive policy documents by email as well as next day dispatch of hard copy documents.
