ABC Insurance, part of the LV= Group, today announced the appointment of Mike Crane as Head of Broker Underwriting. 

With over 20 years' experience in the insurance industry, Mike has held a number of senior underwriting and management posts with major UK insurers.  He joins ABC from RBS Insurance, where he has spent the last six years, most recently as Head of SME Sales and Servicing for broker insurance division, NIG.  In this role Mike had responsibility for all aspects of business delivery through its 20 regional offices and 700 staff.

At ABC Mike will have overall responsibility for underwriting, including the development and profitability of both the commercial and personal lines portfolios. In addition, he will manage ABC's growing network of branches.
